1. Purchase & Shipping Policies
- Purchases: All orders are placed conveniently through our website.
- Shipping: We offer reliable shipping services tailored to your location.
- For Canada: All orders are shipped via Canada Post.
- For Peru: Shipments are handled through Olva Courier.
- For the USA: Shipping arrangements will be coordinated directly with the customer to align with their preferences.
- At checkout, you will have the option to select your preferred shipping method if available for your region.
- Local Pickup: For our valued customers in North Vancouver, a local pickup option is available at checkout.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping fees are the customer’s responsibility, unless explicitly stated otherwise through active promotions for complimentary delivery.
2. Return Policy We understand that sometimes a piece isn’t quite right.
- Eligibility: You may return eligible items within 30 days of your purchase date for a full refund or exchange.
- Condition: Items must be returned unused, unworn, in their original condition, and in their original packaging, including all tags and labels.
- Non-returnable Items:
- Custom or personalized jewelry.
- Jewelry that has been worn or altered (unless defective and covered by warranty).
- Gift cards.
- Return Shipping: The cost of return shipping is also the customer’s responsibility.
3. Return & Refund Process To initiate a return, please contact us first at hello@karenspitzerjewelry.com to receive detailed instructions and a Return Authorization.
- Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, it will undergo a thorough inspection.
- Approval & Processing: We will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days following our inspection.
- Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted only in specific circumstances (e.g., items not in their original condition, or returns initiated after the 30-day period without prior authorization). Each case is reviewed individually.
4. Warranty Policy (Our Commitment to Lasting Quality) Your KS jewelry is a treasure meant to last. We stand by the superior quality and craftsmanship of every piece.
- Warranty Period: All our jewelry comes with a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase.
- Warranty Activation: To activate the warranty, it is essential to provide the original proof of purchase.
- What Our Warranty Covers: This warranty specifically covers manufacturing defects and material faultsunder normal use. Examples include issues with stone settings, clasps, or structural integrity that arise due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
- What Our Warranty Does NOT Cover: This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from improper care, misuse, accidents, or neglect (e.g., bending, scratches, discoloration due to chemicals, exposure to extreme temperatures).
- Normal wear and tear: This includes gradual tarnishing, minor scratches from daily use, as well as the gradual wear or thinning of the gold layer on gold-laminated jewelry (also known as ‘deschapado’ or ‘gold fading’), especially in high-contact areas like rings, clasps, or links. Loss of shine due to daily use and residue buildup is also not considered a manufacturing defect.
- Lost or stolen items.
- Items altered or repaired by a third party.
- Care for Longevity: With proper care (as outlined in our Jewelry Care Guide (link), your jewelry can maintain its perfect appearance and integrity for many years beyond the warranty period.
- Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim, please contact us at hello@karenspitzerjewelry.com with your order number, a clear description of the issue, and accompanying photos. Our team will assess the claim and guide you through the process for repair, replacement, or store credit, at our discretion.
5. Exchanges (For Defective/Damaged Items) If you receive an item that is defective or damaged upon arrival, this is covered by our warranty policy. Please contact us immediately at hello@karenspitzerjewelry.com so we can assess the issue and arrange for a repair or replacement.
6. Shipping Returns (Important)
- Before returning any product (whether for refund, exchange, or warranty claim), you must coordinate with us by emailing hello@karenspitzerjewelry.com to obtain detailed shipping instructions and a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
- For your protection, especially for high-value items, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
